The staff were incredibly nice and food was outstanding. Large and well furnished hotel unit with a refrigerator. Good choice of supplies in the room: a seating area, an iron and ironing board, and a work desk.
Very impolite staff!

The discount price from Booked.net
Stayed at the bwmn on Tuesday night. Quiet, great time at pool and Jacuzzi. Great breakfast. Stayed again on Saturday. Noisy, kids everywhere. Didn't even go to the pool. Rained that night. In the morning ceilings were falling down in hallway and water leaks around. Breakfast was a buffet that ended up costing us $20.00. Coffee was charged for and buffet was so so. Better off using the ticket for free eggs and hash browns. They know how to cook em. Wouldn't recommend staying on a Saturday night if you want to relax.

comfortable but minor issues
The price was great! The room was spacious with two comfy queen beds. We appreciated the attentive staff and the cleanliness of the facilities.
The pre-arrival call was bothersome since I missed it while at a concert.

I chose the hotel while on my iPad on a recent trip to Iowa. The staff were friendly. The hotel was great! I prefer a hotel where the room has a fridge and a microwave. I also try to choose one with a bar and restaurant in close proximity. We were AMAZED...the room was large, up to date and CLEAN. The on site restaurant was a real pleasure! And instead of the typical waffle/cereal breakfast, our breakfast was hot and made to order! This weekend we stayed at a 5 start hotel downtown Ft. Worth for $ 250 a night. We would stay at this BEST WESTERN over it, hands down. It is right off the interstate. If you need to stay in central Iowa, this hotel is a great choice.

High water pressure in showers.
The hallway carpets were filthy and smelled awful. My room had issues with the bathroom door not latching properly, and I found hairs in the bed. The reception staff were unfriendly and dismissive during my complaints.

Cleanliness was poor , with several issues reported including hair on the bedding and inadequate upkeep. Customer service also lacked responsiveness during crucial moments.

The beds were nice.
The service was poor. The door leading from our room barely closed, and the outside door for the building didnt lock. Also there was no refridgerator or microwave in the room.

Having a pool side room with our grandson. The beds were the best we've ever slept in at a hotel!!! We also appreciated the microwave, fridge, and plenty of pillows. The room was clean and tidy! Thank you!
The only obstacle was the front desk young man. He was in a big hurry, talked to fast; too mechanical, where instead it should have been very welcoming and taken his time to explain the details.

The pool was very nice. Our room was neat and the beds comfortable. Housekeeping were very thorough and friendly. Our girls had lots of stuffed animals. When housekeeping made their bed, they placed the pillows and stuffed animals in a cute way that pleased the girls. Two thumbs up for the Ankeny diner and staff!! We liked having the diner in the hotel and not far from our room. Excellent food and service. Really gave our two little girls the royal treatment. We would stay at this Best Western again. Many restaurants, stores, & gas stations nearby. Also liked having two parks within walking distance for our children.
Although the pool was nice, we wouldn't want to get a room right next to the pool area again. We have two young children. The pool is open later at night, and there is a lot of yelling and screaming. We bought a fan to try and drone out the noise. We booked three nights and because of our stay being at a busy time we had to take what they had available.
